Here are some things I’ve been sharing on my grid recently.

  • How my values shape my freelance business

I come back to my values time and time again when thinking about the ways I want to do business. So what are my values and how do they influence my decisions?

  • Two women smiling in front of a podcasting microphone. In the background the walls of the room have been papered with old OS maps!

99 Problems (but a boss ain't one) podcast

I have my fingers in quite a few non-Squarespace pies, and this is one of them! I co-host the podcast with my freelance pal and business coach Michelle Pratt from Dive Deeper Development and in each episode we tackle a new freelance challenge!

  • Bootcamp But Nice

Now let’s not pretend that I’ve ever actually been to a bootcamp, but I imagine it’s a lot of being shouted at and sweating profusely. I guess it gets results for some people 🤷🏻‍♀️ This bootcamp is not like that. Bootcamp But Nice is a way to help you finally get your Squarespace website up and running with some structure and accountability.

  • If you like it then you should have put a favicon on it

This tip is a shoutout to all the Squarespace ladies - and gentlemen of course - who still have the Squarespace black cube appearing in the top of their browser tab. That is a favicon, which for fact fans, is short for favourites icon. It’s also called a Browser Icon.

  • Spacers gonna space

If you’ve ever wanted to throw your computer out the window because you can’t get your image to be the right width or your content to line up how you want, you aren’t alone. This is going to really help you to understand a bit more about Spacers and generally how Squarespace content blocks work.
